Our Offer team is looking for a Tech Lead who together with the team will handle all events, markets and outcomes, ensure they are published and resulted correctly, annotated with the correct metadata and available in the correct jurisdictions. The team also works on initiatives such as regulated markets and domain pricing. Being a part of the team mean that you will be involved in all stages of the development cycle, from the initial idea to get it up and running live. Turning thought into action will get another meaning since you will be the go-to person and push the team’s agenda into other crowds as the Tech Coach. To enjoy this role, you should consider yourself as an attentive representative, whilst assuring that the core functions are maintained together with you team, with the Product Owner and the Lead Architect.

Ideally, you are as deeply passionate about software development 💻 as we are, and now you’re looking to advance your leadership skills whilst remaining technical. You thrive being part of a team 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 , you take responsibility for your work and you are a good communicator. As the Tech Lead, you understand the importance of coaching and motivating the team mates, while empowering them to take ownership of the end result. Finally, we also believe you have a growth mind set 🧠; you are highly committed to learning , sharing your knowledge with your team members 📚 and your work holds high quality.

Key Skills needed:

  • Several years of experience in development of various complex systems
  • Comprehensive understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle
  • Documented experience in Ruby and/or Erlangand/or Elixir
  • Experience with Linux
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and work processes (scrum, Kanban)
  • Good English skills, oral and written

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RabbitMQ, Kafka
  • Experience with Elastic, Splunk, InfluxDB, Graphite, Grafana
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, Memcached
  • Experience with Ansible, Puppet, Chef
  • Experience with Docker, Azure, AWS
