Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

We're looking for exceptional Senior Software engineers that are passionate about working with growing businesses to contribute to the success of our new independent startup; Nexure. We are looking for Senior Engineers who are self-driven, passionate about building quality software and can take ownership of multiple streams of work.

You will be responsible for design and architecture of backend services, managing production services and infrastructure, and working in multidisciplinary project teams of Product, Data Science, Business, and Design professionals. You will mainly be working with Java/Kotlin, Spring Framework and modern front-end technologies, such as React/VueJS However, there will be the flexibility to choose the right tools 🔨 for the job.

Your Profile

• 5+ years of work experience building applications. Experience with back-end REST APIservices.
• Strong knowledge of clean coding practices, including object-oriented and functional programming concepts.
• Strong programming and data modeling skills. Knowledge of the JVM Spring frameworks - and Java or Kotlin language preferred.
• Good experience with Terraform/Chef/Puppet, Kubernetes, CI Pipelines andcloud-platforms
• Experience working in an agile environment with focus on engineering practices liketesting, continuous integration etc.
• Knowledge of Frontend technologies JavaScript/React/Vuejs is a plus
• Fluency in English is a must, Swedish is a plus
