Senior/Lead Data Scientist

You will be joining two household names to be a part of a Stockholm based incubated independent startup, where you will be creating a state of the art B2C platform.

We need a Data Scientist to help lead the way for this venture. We want you to make improvements to the platform as well as building new algorithms to help with optimisation and pricing 📊. You will get the opportunity to design your ideas from concept through to deploying them at scale and will have ultimately full ownership in this space. 🚀

We are looking for an exceptional Data Scientist who is passionate about applying Data Science to challenging business problems, able to own the topic, and make a lasting impact to the success of the venture.

Your tasks:

• Lead the Data Science topic on the venture 🚀
• Assess the current state and enhance the platform from a Data Science perspective 🔎
• Construct hypotheses for improving existing sales and pricing processes
• Develop intelligent algorithms and analysis tools for price and conversion optimisation 📈
• Cooperate closely with teams across company functions to deploy your solutions atscale

Your profile:

• Substantial commercial experience in Data Science and/or Data Engineering
• Knowledge in Machine Learning, Statistics, etc.
• Strong programming and data modeling skills (e.g. Python, R, Java)
• Experience of collaborating with engineering teams to iterate and develop solutionsacross varied environments (e.g.: cloud, on-premises, etc.) 👨‍💻👩‍💻
• University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related subjects preferred 🎓
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Experience working with pricing strategies and conversion rate optimisation is a big plus 📈
• Fluency in English is a must, German or Swedish is a plus
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage corporate stakeholders
