About Codec
Codec is a cultural intelligence platform. We apply science to culture using AI-driven analysis of thousands of millions of digital content engagements online to group mass audiences into communities, linked by shared leaders, interests, and identity. Role
We’re looking for someone with strong Scala development skills to build and maintain our platform. Help provide technical leadership including code and architectural reviews and maintain coding standards across our stack.
You will work closely with our Data Science, Product and Client Services groups ensuring delivery of features that vary from implementing sophisticated back-end algorithms that make use of our big data sets and machine-learning to services and APIs to process our data and provide it to our front end.
We work in a very agile, small team in a test driven environment with no bureaucracy and lots of chances to make a big impact. Our tech stack is mostly Scala with RxJava, deployed into GCP using kubernetes with a react/node front end.
