Software Engineer

BitGo is looking for a Blockchain Engineer who will join our Blockchain team in the United States (candidates in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, Palo Alto, NYC, Austin, Seattle, Salt Lake City or Toronto, Canada). This role can be worked remotely, so long as your homebase is in one of these locations.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with different blockchain experts to improve functionality on a variety of projects for multiple coins
• Create and fix product features 
• Collaborate closely with the technical support team to detect trends among support tickets for common root cause

Required

• 1+ years of server-side, back-end web development
• Strong programming skills in Javascript & Typescript
• Experience with Bitcoin or Ethereum in a work environment (e.g. previous internship/job at a cryptocurrency company)
• Understanding, interest and experience with cryptocurrencies and blockchains
• Strong unit and functional testing and debugging skills
• Solid understanding of algorithm design
• Excellent problem solving skills; complexity analysis

Nice to have

• Strong programming skills in Java 
• Understanding or experience with MongoDB
