(Senior) Software Engineer – Contact Center

Role:

  • Design, build and maintain our contact center ecosystem using technologies such as Java, C#, Pulsar, Terraform, and Kubernetes
  • Consume and broadcast data to 3rd-party APIs
  • Ensure quality by advocating in and out for state-of-the-art software development methodology
  • Own your work from concept all the way to production
  • Support your team in making diligent architectural decisions
  • Help and mentor junior engineers
  • Advocate software engineering best practices and operational excellence
  • Interact with business functions (e.g. Sales, Telephony Team), database architects and other developers
  • Integrate solutions into the wider hear.com systems architecture
  • Drive discussions around tech, unblocking engineering pain points
  • Provide support to the Telephony and business team in troubleshooting system issues regarding integrations

You:

  • Have experience with JVM-based languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala. We are using Java.
  • Have the ability to design resilient distributed systems on cloud infrastructure (AWS)
  • Understand IoC (Infrastructure as a code) principles and can work well with Terraform and Docker
  • Understanding of Object-oriented principles and experience working with APIs
  • You are passionate about CI/CD and DevOps culture
  • Knowledge or interest in learning functional programming and reactive stack
  • Self-learning attitude, and eagerness to find solutions
  • Have experience in integration patterns using message queues and REST
