We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Rust Engineer to join the Cryptography team at O(1) Labs. We are building on the first cryptocurrency protocol with a succinct blockchain, Mina Protocol. This is a chance to join a small, collaborative team and have a ton of independence while working on fascinating problems that span software engineering, systems design, cryptography, and computing. The Role

You will be working on cutting-edge projects, applying Mina's cryptographic protocols, specially Zero Knowledge, in new and exciting ways. 

The role includes:

• Creating security protocol stacks and crypto libraries.
• Writing efficient, secure, high-quality clean code.
• Applying the right design patterns in different scenarios.
• Writing automation and integration tests.
• Conveying complex technical topics in a clear non-technical way.

There is no need to have prior experience in blockchain or cryptocurrency, however experience in Rust is necessary.

The ideal candidate will be motivated and excited to engage on green field projects and will have interest or experience in any of the following:

• Blockchain and/or cryptocurrency
• Proof systems and other cryptographic schemes
• Distributed systems
• Security
• Functional programming
• Security
• Experience in Rust is the only hard requirement; we're more interested in learning about your individual background!
