Senior React Native Engineer

This is a full-time remote position in a distributed team. We try to stay close to the Atlantic Time Zone, but we are flexible.

What are we looking for

We are looking for a brilliant senior front-end engineer who has the capacity and desire to help the engineering organization on a path to fast product cycles and exciting launches.

Ideal candidates will be experienced and passionate about building impressive mobile apps that not only look great from a UI/UX perspective but also that are really well-written and well-structured in terms of codebase and architecture.

What you will do

• Contribute to the vision and long-term strategy in your domain of expertise;
• Architect, develop and maintain React Native iOS/Android applications that serve AvantStay customers;
• Implement pixel-perfect UI's that match designs;
• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience.
• Integrate with third-party API's;
• Drive good engineering practices within your team;
• Challenge yourself to keep growing as a senior developer;
• Identify, debug, and fix production issues;
• Release applications to IOS and Google Play stores;
• Work with native modules when required.

What you will bring

• Mobile development programming experience;
• Ability to write clean, well structured, well tested, and reusable code;
• Deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms and how to apply them to design pragmatic solutions;
• Experience delivering pixel-perfect UI with a great UX;
• Extensive experience working hands-on as a Mobile Software Engineer in an agile environment.

• React Native;

• TypeScript.
