Lead Frontend Engineer

Role Description

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and driven frontend engineer to join our team. As the lead frontend engineer your role will be to collaborate with the lead product designer to create beautiful UIs and extend the SundaeSwap branding. The ideal candidate works well with teams and lives to make each app they develop a work of art.

Requirements

• Lead a team and be able to efficiently delegate tasks amongst a team of frontend engineers
• Professional and or expert experience with typescript, react, next.js, styled components
• Accurately implement UI designed to the pixel
• Live and breathe CSS and have a passion for UI design
• A desire to keep up with the latest practices in web development

Responsibilities

• Work closely with others on the engineering team to devise future implementations of products
• Communicate efficiently with product design team
• Effectively cross-communicate with other parts of the development team
• A solid understanding of how and when to run UI tests

Nice to Have

• Past experience leading teams of engineers to build highly distributed applications and products. 
• Past experience building UIs for companies in the blockchain space
• Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field
