Remote Lead DevOps Engineer

We are Numeral, the first venture of Logic Founders, a new fintech startup studio created by eFounders and Camille Tyan. Our mission is to connect companies’ bank accounts. 📡

Companies’ bank accounts are hidden behind clunky UIs, antiquated direct connection protocols, and heavy treasury management systems. We are building a cutting-edge banking orchestration platform. We develop bank integrations and advanced payment and account management features. We expose them with an elegant API that developers love and a modern dashboard that finance managers adore. Think of us as Stripe for bank payments. We enable fintech companies, insurtech companies, marketplaces, and platforms to finally scale their bank operations. 🚀

Our tech principles & stack

Role

• Implementing deployment tools and staging/production release management processes (CI/CD, migrations, blue/green, rollback, etc.)
• Participating in infrastructure architecture design to meet the product needs
• Automating the provisioning of a resilient, highly available, and scalable infrastructure
• Working hand in hand with development teams to automate releases
• Developing technical libraries used by development teams to increase velocity and meet production constraints
• Automating infrastructure tasks, monitoring, and maintaining services in operational conditions
• Analyse and resolve performance and scalability anomalies
• Following cloud best practices (FinOps, SecOps…)
• Building high secure environment compliant with ISO 27001 and SOC

Requirements

• Good knowledge of AWS cloud (EC2, EKS, Networking, KMS, RDS…)
• IAC with Terraform or equivalent
• Knowledge of industrialisation processes, agile methods, Git flows, and DevOps practices in general and system-side understanding
• Expert in Kubernetes / EKS platform
• Familiar with supervision and logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK…)
• Have experience with maintaining / troubleshooting PostgreSQL DB in production
• Knowledge or experience on Datadog, Golang, GitLab, SQS, and Kafka would be a plus!
