Blockchain Automation and Test Lead

We are looking for talented and motivated engineers to join the Engineering team at Mina Protocol. We are building the first cryptocurrency protocol with a succinct blockchain, enabling greater access and ease of adoption than other protocols. This is a chance to join a small, collaborative team and have a ton of independence while working on fascinating cross-disciplinary problems in computing.

The Role

Cryptocurrency is a domain where correctness really counts. We are looking for an engineer with a focus on quality to help us build out our QA tooling and automated testing practices. This is a chance to join a small, collaborative team and have a ton of independence while working on fascinating problems that span software engineering, systems design, cryptography, and computing. The role includes:

• Being the steward of testing best practices
• Developing automation tests and tooling
• Working with the team to identify and implement the metrics, monitoring and altering that indicate application quality and network health
• Collaborate with the team to drive and execute testing of all releases
• Troubleshooting and debugging test failures and bug reports

There is no need to have prior experience in cryptography and all levels are welcome. The ideal candidate will be motivated and excited to engage on green field projects and will have interest or experience in any of the following:

• Blockchain and/or cryptocurrency
• Distributed systems
• Networking
• Security
• Functional programming
• Programming language theory
• Security

Experience in OCaml or other functional programming languages is not needed but a plus. QA, testing, automation or tooling experiences is required.
