Our main service categories include Accounting System Solutions (specializing in SS&C Advent Geneva® and FIS Investran systems), Back and Middle-Office Business Analysis and Solutions, Custom Reporting & Development, Project Management, Staff Augmentation, and other support services.

We are seeking an entry-level developer to join our development team, where they will leverage their programming skills to build out custom reports for our clients in the FinTech space as a software engineer and partner with Business Analysts to synergize solutions to their complex issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing technical solutions to the client, in accordance with an agreed technical design
• Consult with portfolio accountants and other business contacts to understand requirements and create development specs
• Work on small scale, front to back, stand-alone applications to manipulate and mine data
• Leverage RSL, a proprietary reporting language from Advent Geneva software (portfolio accounting system), to complete certain projects and tasks pertaining to report building
• Participate in the full development lifecycle, including design, coding, automated testing, and production releases of backend services
• Must have ability to work on short term projects that require quick fixes involving a range of small to large enhancements to existing applications (aka fire-fighting)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a known educational institution
• Preferred Majors: computer science, MIS, or related field
• C# /.Net experience required
• SQL and UNIX, and AWS knowledge preferred
• Jira experience a plus, as you will often work in an agile team environment
• Interest and knowledge in the financial services industry and accounting
• Demonstrates analytical and excellent problem-solving skills and is an aspiring engineer excited about DevOps and IT infrastructure
• Must be self-managed and team oriented
• Motivated and deadline/detail oriented
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills
