Software Engineer - Functional Programming - Tezos Blockchain

The Role:

The software Engineer will be joining a rapidly growing team of highly talented engineers to work on the core protocol of Tezos Blockchain. You will be working on the forefront of innovation in blockchains trying to solve problems that have not yet been solved.

You will be given the freedom to come up with new ideas and put them into production and your main focus will be on the scalability of the Tezos blockchain.

 The successful Software Engineer will come from a Functional programming background or will have a genuine interest in it. An intellectual curiosity and interest in blockchain technologies will be important.   

Essential Requirements:

· Functional Programming experience or a genuine interest in Functional Programming is essential 

· Strong computer fundamentals (eg algorithms, data structures and concurrency) 

· Maths background is an asset 

· Competitive programming (eg ACM, IOI, ICPC) and / or problem solving (eg IMO, Putnam) is a plus
