We're a venture-backed, seed-stage team building a contract-enforced communications and organization management product. Contract should first be understood in the sense of "legal" / "juridical" and second in the sense of "smart." Picture a combination of Carta and Docusign with decentralized (blockchain, IPFS) and centralized (database) access controls and transaction layers (blockchain wallets; fiat bank transfers). Our stack is Haskell on the frontend, Haskell on the backend, and Nix around the edges. If you're interested in a combination of statically-typed or dependently-typed programming languages, contract law, cooperatives, decentralization, slick UX and slicker codebases, we want to hear from you! (Doubly so if you're from a non-majority / non-traditional background!)

Marigold is a dynamic and collaborative company, established by Gabriel Alfour in November 2020, focused on testing and developing upgrades to the Tezos Protocol. After working on testing and benchmarking the existing protocol code at Nomadic Labs, Gabriel founded a new company around the LIGO programming language. Then, wanting to improve the performance of the Tezos blockchain, he assembled a developer team and founded Marigold. The team is fully remote, skill-oriented, specializing in functional programming, with the ability to understand Tezos code in a flat organization. Marigold is dedicated to Tezos’ efficiency and is constantly working on technical contributions. Doing so, it is fully-integrated in the Tezos ecosystem.

About Us... Permutive is powering the future of targeted advertising on the Open Web today. As the only Audience Platform built on edge computing, we enable premium advertisers and publishers to plan, build and activate cohorts — all while keeping everyone’s data safe. We’re a remote-first B2B SaaS company with 140+ people—centred around our London and New York hubs—and growing rapidly. We have received funding from some of the world’s best investors, including a recent $75m Series C led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2. We support each other Everyone here is in it together. We give a hand to those around us because we know they'll always give a hand back. We like to understand and appreciate different points of view, and we work in good faith and assume good intentions. We're always learning We give each other space to flourish, experiment, fail, and move forward stronger, because iterating is how we improve. We're aware of our strengths and open about mistakes and weaknesses, because we know they give us the best opportunity to learn and grow. We make things possible We stay focussed on solutions and outcomes. Instead of 'why?' we ask 'why not?', and understand what we need to get the right things done. And we're not afraid to do things differently, because differently is often the best way to succeed. Forget everything you know about tech company culture Permutive is a place where you can be yourself. While we do work hard, this won't be your stereotypical start-up experience. You'll spend your days in a mature, open and caring atmosphere, where we're all mindful of each other's feelings and needs. And because we want to enjoy our work, we give ourselves time and space to enjoy life away from it. Our technology works like no one else's, so why should our company? Tweag is a software innovation lab that helps deep tech startups quickly scale their engineering performance and execute on high-risk, high-reward projects with confidence. We find the best wherever they live, to build better software by applying mathematics, computer science and the methods of open source. Our core engineering mantras: functional, typed, immutable. These are the key technologies for composable software. We build parts as functions, because functions compose where objects do not. We use types to describe functions, because one type is worth a thousand out-of-date comments. We keep data immutable, because immutability lets us focus on the business logic holistically without getting bogged down by hundreds of corner cases. Tweag is a major proponent and contributor to new ways of building composable software. We are active contributors to GHC, have full-time researchers on staff to fund new language features (like linear types and dependent types), instigated the creation of the Haskell Foundation, and created many new libraries and tools in Haskell. We are the top contributors to Nix and were the first to be labeled Bazel Community Expert, because we’re passionate about the impact of great developer tools.

For many, the process of getting a mortgage is hellish; hellishly complicated, hellishly costly and hellishly outdated. At Habito, we’re changing that. We believe people shouldn’t have to go through hell to get a mortgage. Since our launch in 2016, we have made it our mission to fundamentally change the way people finance their homes. Whether buying for the first time, remortgaging, moving house or buying as an investment, we have developed an award-winning service that puts our customers back in the driving seat, giving them greater control over their finances. We deliver industry-leading expert advice in real time, cutting edge AI-driven technology that gives them access to the best possible deals, plain English conversations and absolutely no fees whatsoever. We’re enormously proud of what we’ve achieved. Together, our 100-strong team has built great things to bring this mission to life. We’ve won numerous industry awards for our innovation, our talent and our service. And our enviable roster of backers is testament to that hard work and vision: to date, we have raised £27.5million in funding from some of the biggest names in venture capital and FinTech – Atomico, Ribbit Capital and Mosaic Ventures as well as the founders of Funding Circle and TransferWise. Most importantly, we’ve helped more than 160,000 people get the mortgage they deserve. Our proudest achievement yet is the love we get from our customers, borne out by consistently excellent TrustPilot reviews from more than 1,500 happy homeowners. But our work never stops. The landscape continues to evolve and, because we believe in financial products that put the customer’s interests first by design, we have ambitious plans to continue innovating, improving and disrupting in this space. As our business scales up, to extend beyond brokerage and insurance into becoming a mortgage marketplace, our focus on pioneering product and best-in-class delivery is greater than ever.

Groq develops and deploys new architectures for accelerating machine learning. Building and maintaining robust, secure and scalable compute infrastructure is critical to the success of our organization. We take a co-design approach using both hardware and software to make it easier to adapt and change as field changes. By simplifying the hardware and offloading much of those complications to the software we are able to mitigate much of the risk and costs that comes with complicated hardware manufacturing. By focusing on the low-level software we have also set our product up to scale and iterate new form factors. We take a building block approach so that our product can be made to scale better and run faster without having to revamp the hardware. The goal is to leverage Groq hardware to achieve best-in-class performance for machine learning workloads.
